A video emphasizing that the process of digital payments is easier and saves a lot of effort and time compared to the old traditional methods of payment.
It is crazy how quickly the dollar bill and checks have become almost obsolete. I almost never carry any cash with me at all unless it is tip money from where I work. It just seems easier to pay with my debit card, avoiding the hassle of carrying around change in my pockets. In regards auto fill on websites to make payments easier, I don't like that feature. I feel it is easier for someone to take my information if that is enabled.
I think it is so cool that a digital payment cuts out so many intermediaries from their process in order to correctly accept a payment from a customer. The speed of this also amazes me because I used to be a cashier and they computer system that processes checks would read the customers address, how many times they have came to our store, account balance, etc in a matter of seconds and would accept or deny the payment. Digital payments have really helped me purchase items online that are way cheaper than items that are advertised in stores. A scanner allows me to compare prices of an item in a matter of seconds with stores online and in my vacinity.
